He enters the final year of his contract and is scheduled to earn a $3.406 million base salary along with a $3.486 million cap hit in 2025, according to Over The Cap.If the Buccaneers and McCollum cannot reach an agreement before March, he will become a free agent and likely sign a lucrative deal that exceeds what the front office is willing to offer in the open market.

According to Adam Schefter, the Buccaneers have secured a very team-friendly contract extension with Zyon McCollum. The deal is for three years and is worth $48 million, with $35.4 million guaranteed, per his agents Robert Bailey and Drew, and Jason Rosenhaus. McCollum’s $16 million annual salary makes him the 21st-highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.
