The Kansas City Chiefs are dealing with a depleted wide receiver room after the six-game suspension to Rashee Rice, but could have just lost another receiver. During the team’s first drive, Xavier Worthy was running an underneath route and collided with tight end Travis Kelce during the play. Worthy would go down and hold his shoulder as the training staff came out to help him off the field.

After the play, he would walk to the locker room, not a sign that Chiefs fans would want to see. He would walk off with a towel over his head and head to the x-ray room. The Kansas City Chiefs would officially announce that Worthy is questionable to return with a shoulder injury, so if he can return to the field, that would be great for quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the offense.

Worthy finished last season with 59 receptions for 638 yards (10.8 yards per catch) and six touchdowns in his rookie season. It will be interesting to see his availability for the remainder of the game and what the Kansas City Chiefs would be able to do with their receiving core.
