Can one please explain to me who Harry Maguire is – the quintessential United defender?
So, at the start, who is he? Big and strong at the back, very brilliant in preventing the opposition from scoring. He’s basically the backbone of his unit, which is, of course, Manchester United. He’s also an English National Football Team member. So he plays for his country!
After discussions with the manager today he has informed me he is changing captain. He outlined his reasons to me and whilst I’m personally extremely disappointed, I will continue to give my all every time I wear the shirt.

And more: In recent days, Saudi Pro League teams were said to be moving for the English defender. Discussions have been held with a view toward quoting or negotiating for him to join them. It’s big for him already, undergoing a transfer to this new club, so that he can now go and ply his trade in another country!
Well, Harry’s current-term contract with United is about to end. A contract is a sort of promise between a player and a club; it states for how long the player shall give his services to the team. Upon release from contract, the player may continue with that team or choose to join a new one.
So, What Will Happen?
The big decisions are yet to come for Harry Maguire. He is faced with choosing whether to stick it out with Man United or start anew in the Saudi Pro League. He must weigh what will prove best for himself, for his career, and probably for the benefit of his family.
Will Manchester United then have to think about what would happen if Harry left? They will maybe have to bring in a new defender for him. It’s a bit of a puzzle, really, and all the agents and other clubs are just waiting to see which pieces go where!

Wait and watch! Every person in the soccer world is trying to ascertain what Maguire will do. Whatever Maguire decides, we would wish him well and go cheer for Manchester United irrespective of who was on the pitch!
