‘Nobody can keep up’: Media go crazy over ‘impressive Nottingham Forest star’s int’l display

Dan Ndoye has enjoyed a great start to life at Nottingham Forest having scored and assisted in his first three appearances.

The Swiss international is already breaking Forest records, and it seems there is no need for an adaptation period for him.

Ndoye has received plaudits from his Forest teammates, and the former Bologna man has caught the eye of Micah Richards too.

The winger is currently away on international duty, and was heavily involved in Switzerland’s match against Kosovo.

Here is how Ndoye got on with his national team, and how the Swiss media reacted to his performance.

Dan Ndoye has seemingly brought his Nottingham Forest form into the international break, as the winger picked up two assists for Switzerland on Friday night.

It was a first half demolition from the Swiss who trounced Kosovo 4-0 with each goal scored in the opening 45 minutes.

Swiss publication Bluewin said, ‘He may not score a goal, but his performance is still impressive: Two wonderful assists for Embolo and countless running duels won.’

‘When he sprints off, nobody can keep up. Ndoye can hardly be stopped by the Kosovars.’

Dan Ndoye was deployed in a slightly different role from at Forest, but he was still able to produce an excellent showing.

The winger was a catalyst for his country, and the consistently good performances may start to worry a few of the Forest squad members.

The performance by Ndoye for Switzerland is exactly what Forest fans have come to know.

It was a tireless effort by the winger, who never relented even when off the ball.

There is no doubt that Nuno Espirito Santo has signed a quality player, and the competition for places in his squad will boost the levels of those players.

When Ndoye returns from international break, he’ll have to fend off Omari Hutchinson, Dilane Bakwa, and potentially Callum Hudson-Odoi for either wing.

The 24-year-old is capable of playing on both sides of attack, and that will only increase his possible minutes across the season.

Although, so far he has been put on the right side under Nuno, which could signal a tough path for Bakwa into the team.

Based on his displays for both Forest and his nation, Ndoye is making the starting spot his own. The rest will simply have to keep up with his current level.
