Kylian Mbappe matched Thierry Henry's international goals tally with an effort in Friday's 2-0 win over Ukraine in World Cup qualifying.
Didier Deschamps's side made the trip to Wroclaw for the start of their path to the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Bayern Munich's Michael Olise netted a 10th-minute opener to give France a half-time lead, before Mbappe doubled the advantage in the closing stages to make sure of all three points.
Mbappe shifted the ball away from Illia Zabarnyi and drove into the box before he thumped his right-foot shot past Anatoliy Trubin.

Mbappe equals Henry goalscoring record
As a result of his emphatic effort, Mbappe moved joint-second with the legendary Henry in France's all-time goalscorers list.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona forward finished his career with 51 goals from 123 matches, while Mbappe has matched that tally in just 91 international appearances.
The 26-year-old spoke of his pride in equalling Henry's international tally when he addressed the media following Friday's victory.
“It’s an honour to go level with a player like Thierry Henry," Mbappe said as per Get French Football News. “Everyone knows what he represents for us Frenchmen, particularly strikers.
"He opened up a path. He completed gigantic feats. I have a lot of admiration and respect for him.”

How many goals does Mbappe need to surpass Giroud?
Having matched Henry's record, Mbappe is closing in on France's all-time goalscoring record, which currently belongs to Olivier Giroud.
The ex-Arsenal striker scored 57 times in 137 international appearances to move to the top of France's goalscoring charts.
As a result, Mbappe needs six goals to equal Giroud's record and seven goals to become his country's greatest ever goalscorer.
In truth, it is only a matter of time before Mbappe takes the record, but then it will be a question of how many goals he can accumulate before the end of his international career.
The forward will have the chance to add to his tally when France take on Iceland in Tuesday's qualifying clash in Paris.
