Nottingham Forest’s Murillo and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guéhi are on Barcelona’s radar.
That’s according to Saturday’s edition of [Mundo Deportivo](https://mundodeportivo.com/), who report the La Liga winners are looking to strengthen their centre-back position.
Therefore, they ‘keep an eye’ on Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace players, along with Sporting’s Gonçalo Inácio and Paris Saint-Germain’s Lucas Beraldo.
Hansi Flick currently has Pau Cubarsí, Ronald Araújo, Andreas Christensen and Eric García as the four centre-backs, with the latter two in their final year of contract. The report say there’s also a possibility for Araújo to leave the Camp Nou next summer.
These four players are right footed and therefore, the Catalan club are looking for a left footed centre-back.
Barcelona have started gathering information about some players who can help them fix this position. This is where Murillo, Guéhi, Inácio and Beraldo come into the picture.
Guéhi is in his final year of contract and came close to leaving Crystal Palace for Liverpool on deadline day, before the move collapsed.
He’s expected to leave Crystal Palace as a free agent next summer and recent claims from the UK have linked him to Barcelona.
Mundo relay it and add that Barca have the 25-year-old England international in their list despite being right footed centre-back. This is probably because of his contract situation at Crystal Palace.
Murillo is left footed, and the report claims he’s impressing with his ‘ball-carrying skills and his imposing appearance’ at Nottingham Forest. Mundo say his ‘stock is rising’ in the Premier League, which could make it difficult for Barca to take him away from Nuno Espírito Santo’s side.
Earlier this year, [Barcelona had shown keen interest](https://sportwitness.co.uk/barcelona-keen-on-nottingham-forest-player-theyll-know-how-difficult-deal-is-for-them/) in the 23-year-old Brazilian. It was also reported they have gathered good reports about him and view the Reds defender as one for the future.
