Man United could be without up to four players for their next game against rivals Manchester City following the international break.
The Red Devils picked up their first win of the season in the last game against Burnley, when they scored a late winner to make it 3-2, and finished the first period of the season on four points in the Premier League.
Ruben Amorim will be looking ahead to their game against a City team who have struggled slightly so far this season. They sit on three points after winning just one of their three opening games under manager Pep Guardiola.

But, for the game, Man United could be without up to four players due to injury problems against City, which could damage their chances of getting three points.
Matheus Cunha – Ruled out
Striker Cunha will miss the game against Man City as he is recovering from a hamstring injury that he suffered against Burnley.
After the game, Amorim said: “I don’t know [how serious the injuries are]. We’ll check them. We need those guys really badly to be competitive.” There is currently no due date for Cunha’s return meaning that he could see at least a couple of weeks on the sidelines before he comes back for Amorim.
Mason Mount – Doubt
Midfielder Mount suffered yet another injury during his time at Man United, as the Englishman picked up a knock against Burnley.
Amorim hasn’t issued an update on Mount, but it is understood that he is currently being assessed over the international break, and his status is currently set at 50% for the game against Man City.
Diogo Dalot – Doubt
Full-back Dalot is also a doubt now as he picked up a muscle injury, and had to pull out of international duty for Portugal because of it.
It is unclear whether he will be back for the game against Man City, which could be a huge blow, as Dalot is a safe defensive asset to have on the right hand side.
Lisandro Martinez – Ruled out
Martinez continues to recover from his ACL injury that he suffered in January, and it is expected to keep him out of action until late on in 2025.
The most recent updates suggest his earliest return would be in late October, which isn’t as bad as initially feared for Man United.
