As well as expected delays, West Midlands Roads has also warned of road closures for Witton Lane, Trinity Road and Witton Road, which will be closed prior to the match.
The group advised to check ahead of travelling, also suggesting alternative travel options such as the shuttle bus service and rail.
On X, the group said: "International football at Villa Park tonight as England take on Andorra.
"Kick off is 5pm. Expect heavier than usual traffic on surrounding roads, including the M6.
"Witton Lane, Trinity Road and Witton Road will be closed."
On the group's website, the travel group also promoted Birmingham's new city centre shuttle bus, which picks up both home and away supporters outside Birmingham New Street Station, before taking them directly to Villa Park.
