The transfer window is still open in Turkey, with several Manchester United players facing uncertain futures.
It is no secret that every Manchester United player has a price. Ineos got rid of several players deemed surplus to requirements during the summer, including Alejandro Garnacho and Antony.
Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho could only secure loan moves away from Old Trafford, although the same could be said for Rasmus Hojlund, albeit with a more achievable obligation since Napoli only have to qualify for the Champions League.
The 2025/26 season is underway, and United’s five new signings are settling into their new surroundings. More question marks have been raised about other players.
Andre Onana has lost his place to Altay Bayindir in Ruben Amorim’s line-up, after starting in just one of the first four games of the season. Both goalkeepers face uncertain futures following the arrival of Senne Lammens on deadline day.

Trabzonspor reach verbal agreement for Andre Onana
United have suffered from howlers made by Bayindir and Onana this season.
Onana’s only appearance this season came in the Carabao Cup second round defeat against League Two outfit Grimsby Town.
Now, with his place in the team in serious doubt, it looks like United will listen to offers for Onana. Interest could intensify since the transfer window remains open in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Time will tell if Onana believes he can regain his place in Amorim’s line-up, or if he’ll move to secure regular football ahead of the African Cup of Nations and World Cup with Cameroon.
Onana could compete with Man City goalkeeper at Trabzonspor
Onana isn’t the only Premier League goalkeeper linked with a move to Trabzonspor.
The Turkish outfit are also believed to be considering a deal for Man City’s Stefan Ortega, as per Sporx.
James Trafford, Marcus Bettinelli, and Gianluigi Donnarumma arrived at City, and Ederson left, with Ortega seemingly surplus to requirements under Pep Guardiola.
Trabzonspor could end up with Onana and Ortega before their transfer window shuts. They are currently trying to replace Uğurcan Çakir, who joined Galatasaray earlier this week.
