Tennessee Titans defensive back Amani Hooker has developed into one of the league’s most underrated safeties ever since they selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Since then, he has registered 12 interceptions and 31 pass deflections across 80 regular-season games. Hooker boasted career highs in interceptions and pass deflections in 2024, with five and nine, while allowing a 56.4% completion percentage, three touchdowns, and a 63.9 passer rating over 14 games.

Amani Hooker enters the final year of his three-year, $30 million contract and will become a free agent next offseason. The seven-year veteran is scheduled to earn an $8.04 million base salary, a $2.5 million prorated signing bonus, a $350,000 per-game bonus, a $500,000 bonus, and an $11.348 million cap hit in 2025, according toOver The Cap. Since Hooker enters the final year of his deal, is a key member of the Titans’ secondary, and is only 27 years old, it makes sense for the Titans to secure him to a long-term contract rather than letting him walk in free agency.
