The summer transfer window is over and Leeds United’s promotion-winning squad has been boosted by the arrival of ten new signings.
After sealing the Championship title and a return to the Premier League on the final day of last season, the Elland Road hierarchy wasted little time in adding to Daniel Farke’s ranks as they paid out around £100 million ahead of deadline day on Monday.
With the likes of Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri, Swedish international defender Gabriel Gudmundsson and German midfielder Anton Stach now in the Whites ranks, Farke will hope he has a squad capable of taking on the best English football has to offer.
Leeds’ £100 million spend has been dwarfed by the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal and that paints a realistic picture of the lavish nature of spending in the Premier League - but how does the net worth of Whites owners 49ers Enterprises compare to their rivals across the top flight?
