COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Cleveland Browns have signed second-round running back and former Ohio State Buckeye Quinshon Judkins to a fully guaranteed rookie contract, according to a social media post from NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.
This signing means all of the Browns' draft picks are now under contract.
Judkins, who missed training camp, is expected to receive a temporary roster exemption, allowing him to practice but not play until the exemption is lifted.
This exemption is standard for players who missed camp and can last up to two games, NFL Network reported.
Rapoport reported that Judkins is not expected to play this week. However, depending on his practice performance, he could potentially play the following week.
In August, Prosecutors in Florida declined to pursue a case against Judkins, who was arrested in July on charges of misdemeanor battery and domestic violence.
Judkins' legal situation is reportedly resolved, with no charges filed against him.
However, the NFL is still conducting its investigation into the matter.
