The 2025 NFL season is underway. While more alumni of the UCF football program are on NFL rosters as practice squad members and on the PUP list, six former Knights are suited up for their respective squads this week.
Here's what Knights fans can watch for on the first Sunday of the professional season.

Kalia Davis - 49ers - DT
Davis is expected to begin his third NFL season with San Francisco as one of their primary defensive tackles, alongside Jordan Elliott. He made 11 tackles last season and intercepted a pass across 13 games.
A West Florida Tech grad, Davis appeared in 28 games for the Knights with 61 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, two pass deflections, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
The 49ers take on the Seahawks at 4:05 p.m. ET in Seattle.
RJ Harvey - Broncos - RB
The rookie is expected to be part of a running back rotation with J.K. Dobbins in Denver. Harvey rushed for over 1400 yards in back-to-back seasons for the Knights in 2023 and 2024 before being selected by Broncos with a second-round choice in 2025.
The Broncos host the Tennessee Titans Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
Mike Hughes - Falcons - CB
Hughes enters his eighth season in the NFL and his second as a full-time starter for the Falcons. Hughes played one season for the Knights in 2017 with 49 tackles, one for a loss, a forced fumble, and four interceptions.
Atlanta host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Charley Hughlett - Eagles - Long Snapper
The Hillsborough, Florida native enters his first season as the Eagles long snapper after ten seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Hughlett had no tackles in his Philly debut Thursday, which the Eagles won 24-20 over the Dallas Cowboys, but the Eagles' special teams made a difference in the one-possession game.
Mac McWilliams - Eagles - CB
The rookie defensive back did not record any stats in Philadelphia's season-opening win against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. However, after a strong training camp, McWilliams could become a part of Philly's main rotation sooner rather than later. McWilliams was a fifth-round selection by the Eagles in 2025 after one season with the Knights, in which he made 32 tackles with six and a half being for a loss, a sack, two pass deflections, and an interception.
Alex Ward - Rams - Long Snapper
Ward enters his third season as the Rams long snapper. The Rams host the Houston Texans Sunday at 4:25 PM ET.
