We haven’t seen a lot of Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks lately, but he is trying to change that in 2025-26.
The big man is hoping that the new season is a lot better than the last couple of years, and he has deep faith in himself.
Robinson posted a simple and strong message on Instagram recently, writing, “Bet on myself.”
Robinson believes in what he can do, but some Knicks fans might be losing hope.

Last season, Robinson participated in just 17 games, averaging 5.1 points and 5.9 rebounds during that time.
The season before, he was in only 31 games, posting 5.6 points and 8.5 rebounds.
Injuries have consistently gotten in Robinson’s way, and there are many questions about his fit with the Knicks.
They did quite well without him, and some fans believe the team is finding a capable and competitive identity without him.
If that’s the case, they could decide to part ways with him and let him go to another team.
Robinson has a strong defensive presence when he’s healthy, but he has a tough time staying in good shape.
He is eligible for a contract extension, but no one would be surprised if the Knicks say goodbye to him.
After all, his name has been in numerous trade rumors over the years.
Robinson is sadly unreliable, but he doesn’t want to be.
This social media post shows that he believes in himself, which matters a great deal.
But if he doesn’t also have the belief of his team, Robinson could find himself with a weak contract or a new home, soon.
