Jeff Teague Calls For NBA Player To Retire

Jeff Teague spent years in the NBA, and he now spends his time studying the league, its teams, and its players.

There is one particular player who should retire, according to Teague.

Speaking on Club 520, Teague said it’s time for Ben Simmons to hang up his jersey and move on from the NBA.

He invited him on the show to tell his side of the story.

“We’d love you to come sit down and talk cause it’s over… he can’t move no more, he running like people on 2K… he legit hurt,” Teague said.

Some people feel Simmons is hurt, while others believe his heart is no longer in the game.

But one thing is certain: he hasn’t been playing like he used to.

Simmons’ career got off to a great start with the Philadelphia 76ers, but things fell apart between him and that team only a few years later.

Following his breakup with that team, Simmons moved to the Brooklyn Nets, but his numbers didn’t improve much.

His recent run with the Los Angeles Clippers wasn’t much better, and Simmons averaged 2.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists during his 18 games.

Simmons is now a free agent, and there have been rampant rumors of him retiring from the NBA.

Teams like the New York Knicks are apparently interested in signing him to a low-value contract, but that doesn’t mean Simmons will sign it.

He might agree with Teague and decide that it’s time for him to move on, either playing in a foreign league or retiring from professional basketball for good.

Simmons hasn’t been delivering for the last few years, and his road could be coming to an end.

Teague and other NBA fans think it should be.
