Teair Tart taunts Travis Kelce on social media after slapping him

Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle Teair Tart got away with slapping Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce during Friday’s game, and he certainly was not feeling regretful on social media afterward.

Tart delivered an open-hand slap to Kelce’s facemask during the third quarter of Friday’s game at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil. Tart was penalized for the act, but managed to avoid an ejection.

Tart was not having any second thoughts about the move after the game. On Instagram, he posted the clip of a very famous and appropriate “Chappelle’s Show” sketch.

Tart is certainly inviting some hate to come his way, but his Chargers ultimately won 27-21, so he can probably live with it.

One could certainly make the case that Tart could have been ejected for this, but that did not happen because he did not use a closed fist when striking Kelce. There is still a chance the veteran could face a fine, however.

Tart, 28, is in his second season with the Chargers. He has previously spent time with the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans.
