Injury Update: Bears CB Jaylon Johnson questionable for opener

Hyppolite is unfazed about making his NFL debut in a national spotlight on Monday Night Football.

"It's a great opportunity," he said. "First NFL game, so a lot of excitement. I'm just ready to go out there and handle my business, do my job, and just help the team win. At the end of the day, that's what it's about."

There was good news on the injury front in the backfield Saturday. Rookie running back Kyle Monangai (hamstring) practiced without restrictions after being limited Friday and was not given an injury designation, meaning he is expected to play Monday night. Running back Roschon Johnson (foot) was limited Saturday after sitting out Friday and is questionable.

"Monangai has really hit his stride there over the course of the spring and in camp," Johnson said. "I trust that guy at this point, which is a big thing to say for a young guy like that. He tends to do everything right."

In other injury news, defensive back and special teams standout Josh Blackwell (groin) is questionable after being limited in practice for the second straight day.

For the Vikings, running back Zavier Scott (ankle) and defensive lineman Elijah Williams (hamstring) have been ruled out of Monday night's game. Safety Harrison Smith (illness) is doubtful. And defensive tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) is questionable.
