Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, now Sky Sports pundit, has decided between Celtic or Rangers for “the best” stadium atmosphere.
Regarded as one of the Premier League's best-ever right-backs, Neville spent just under 20 years as a Red Devils professional and was an ever-present figure in Sir Alex Ferguson’s side at Old Trafford.

During his playing days, he played at Celtic Park and Ibrox once in the Champions League. Against the Hoops, Neville captained Man Utd as they lost 1-0 at Parkhead in 2006, with Shunsuke Nakamura’s late free kick proving to be the difference.

Neville chooses between Celtic and Rangers for “best atmosphere”
Previously talking on the Stick to Football Podcast, Neville said that Rangers and Ibrox was the “best atmosphere” ahead of Celtic Park, describing it as “staggering”.
“The best atmosphere I've ever seen in my life was Ibrox. As the game was about to kick off, I thought, "What the f**k is this?” Celtic was loud. Phil scored early on. Honestly, for the first couple of minutes before the game and when the game started, I've never seen anything like that in my life. Noise. Honestly, Ibrox, it was unbelievable. Staggering.”
Former Hoops midfielder Roy Keane, who also appears on the Stick to Football Podcast, didn’t agree with Neville.
“Celtic Park's a better atmosphere, anyway.”
