Football season has officially arrived, which means Carrie Underwood is back to bring the excitement and energy with another "Sunday Night Football" show opening as part of the NFL Football League's tradition on NBC.

A clip, on Instagram shared by the Sunday Night Football and the NBC Sports pages gives a first look at Underwood belting out the iconic "Waiting All Day For Sunday Night" theme song as footage of various football players running on and off the field and showcasing their strength in the big game is shown. Underwood appears on stage, wearing a shimmering blue dress with her hair down, while accompanied by a full band.
