Arsenal sent 5 players out on loan in the just concluded summer transfer window while outrightly selling 6 on a permanent basis.
One of the players who secured a deadline day loan move away from the Emirates Stadium in search of more playing minutes may make an early debut just after the international break.
Arsenal Midfielder Fabio Vieira who secured a late move to Hamburg on transfer deadline may make his Bundesliga debut in a highly anticipated match against Bayern Munich on September 13.
The 25-year-old Portuguese playmaker before the international break had expressed his excitement and nervousness about facing one of the best teams in the world.
Vieira joined Hamburg on a season-long loan from Arsenal, with an option to buy for over €20 million.

Vieira has immediately settled in well with his new team and is looking forward to testing himself against the German champions.
Speaking to the media about the upcoming match, Vieira said: “Bayern is one of the best teams in the world. Everyone knows how strong the Bavarians are. It will be a very difficult game for us. I look forward to it. We will prepare well for this. Let’s see what happens,” Vieira told Bild.
The midfielder has been working hard to adapt to his new team and has already shown glimpses of his ability to play between the lines, a trait that first attracted Mikel Arteta to him during his time at Arsenal.
“I can play as a 10, or act as a right-winger who moves into the middle. I like to be between the lines. I can play passes or score goals from there,” Vieira said.
Hamburg head coach Merlin Polzin intends to build around Vieira, who will link up with fellow Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga.
The duo will look to make an impact in the Bundesliga and help Hamburg secure a positive result against Bayern Munich.
Before leaving London, Vieira received a message from Mikel Arteta, which he found valuable. “His most important tip was that I always have to stay with me, bring my football on the pitch to get the best out of myself,” Vieira said.
Vieira’s move to Hamburg comes after a season-long loan to Porto last year, where he impressed with his performances.

Although Stuttgart and West Ham explored moves this summer, Vieira chose Hamburg, citing the club’s ambition and style of play as key factors in his decision.

Despite making 49 appearances for Arsenal, scoring three and assisting 10, Vieira’s move to Hamburg represents a fresh start for the midfielder.
His contract with Arsenal runs until 2027, and it is unlikely Hamburg will trigger his option to buy at the end of the season unless he enjoys an exceptional year.
For now, Vieira is focused on preparing for the big match and making a strong impression. “We will fight and want to take something from there,” he said.
