Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their high-stakes clash with rivals Manchester City after the international break.
Mason Mount was taken off at half-time in the 3-2 victory over Burnley on 30th August.
He was not the only casualty on the evening, as Matheus Cunha limped off with a hamstring issue earlier in the first half.
Manager Ruben Amorim openly admitted his concerns about the fitness of both key players.

The England international is now doing strength and rehabilitation work at the gym.
Mount has made a lively start to the 2025-26 season, becoming a central figure in Amorim’s attacking set-up.
He has started all three Premier League games and has done well to link up with his fellow forwards.
The attacking midfielder has rattled the crossbar, nearly won a penalty, and carved out several chances for his teammates.
Amorim has also used Mount in a false nine, with Benjamin Sesko moving to Old Trafford just a week before the opening league encounter.
Availability of Cunha is still not confirmed for the Man City clash.
We believe Sesko could replace the Brazilian in the squad, while Mount could shift into the left-sided number 10 role.
After two injury-plagued seasons at United, this campaign feels decisive for Mount to finally prove his worth.
United signed him from Chelsea in the summer of 2023 in a deal worth around £60 million.
He has played only 51 times for the Red Devils, with his several appearances coming off the bench.
