Now that the transfer window has closed, Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta can turn his attention to contract renewals, and securing the futures of both Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.
And he is aided by the fact that both have remained in London and will not be on international duty. Saka picked up a hamstring injury in the match against Leeds, whilst Saliba twisted his ankle in the warm-up against Liverpool, and was substituted five minutes into the game.
The Gunners are confident that they can tie both players down to new deals, and for many supporters, getting them to commit to the club is every bit as important as any new signing.
Saka, in particular, is the poster boy for the Mikel Arteta project, and is regarded as the jewel in the Emirates crown whilst Saliba has been the subject of wooing noises from Real Madrid earlier in the summer.
