The Bengals are the NFL equivalent of a Ferrari with an elite quarterback in Joe Burrow and perhaps the league’s most electric 1-2 at wide receiver in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, all of whom got signed to lucrative contract extensions in the offseason. Cincinnati struggled badly out of the gates last season and was 4-8 before a season-ending five-game win streak ultimately came up short of a playoff bid. The Bengals were the NFL’s most prolific passing offense and scored the sixth-most points in the league (27.8 ppg), but they fell behind the chains early in the season with an 0-3 start and faced a challenge with seven games against playoff teams over their first 12.
The Browns set out to put their best foot forward after going 3-14 last season and ranking last in the NFL in scoring offense (15.1 ppg). But on the same note, the team built a new quarterback room around veteran Joe Flacco after the Deshaun Watson experiment failed spectacularly in 2024, with rookie running back Quinshon Judkins as perhaps Cleveland’s most likely new arrival to make an early impact. The Browns defense remains stout, though with rookie defensive tackle Mason Graham joining a unit anchored by All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett that fell short of expectations last season.
The Bengals and Browns are set for a 1 p.m. ET start on FOX. Live streams are available from FuboTV (free trial), SlingTV (low intro rate) and DirecTV (free trial).
