The New England Patriots had a lifeless offense last year, largely due to having arguably the league’s most unexceptional wide receiver room.
In an effort to combat that issue, the team traded for Stefon Diggs this offseason to come in and be the new No. 1 receiver, and he recently revealed his honest thoughts on his new teammates ahead of New England’s Week 1 battle with the Las Vegas Raiders.
In a recent clip from his YouTube channel, Diggs spoke positively of his new city and his new teammates.
“My experience in Boston has been good… I really, really f*** with my teammates. I don’t know if it was by design because of how Coach Vrabel set it up, but it makes you kinda appreciate your teammates.”

New England went into the offseason with the most cap space in the league, and the Pats made the most of it by completely overhauling the roster on both sides of the ball after an uncharacteristically bad 4-13 campaign last year.
Diggs has had a bit of a shaky offseason, but he has made it to Week 1 healthy and fully recovered from the torn ACL he suffered last year.
It’s great to hear that Diggs is fitting in in the locker room, because this is an offense that could use his leadership and production on the field to help second-year quarterback Drake Maye get more comfortable.
Maye showed tremendous potential last year, but it was clear he needed the help of a star wide receiver.
Hopefully, his new veteran WR1 can give him plenty of it.
