Why Cardinals QB Kyler Murray was added to the injury report prior to the Saints game

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was added to the injury report because of an unspecified illness prior to Sunday's season opener against the New Orleans Saints in the Caesars Superdome.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Murray will still start for the Cardinals and will have no game-status designation.

The Cardinals' backup quarterback is Jacoby Brissett, but it seems unlikely the veteran will be forced into duty against the Saints. Murray was seen strolling into the Superdome Sunday morning.
