**West Ham are not lining up Frank Lampard as next Hammers boss, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
Following what has been a difficult start to the 2025/26 season, albeit a far better display in the victory at Nottingham Forest ahead of the international break – there have been rumours circulating online surrounding the future of Graham Potter.
Talk of Potter leaving and being replaced by former Academy graduate and West Ham midfielder Frank Lampard have certainly intensified.
Lampard, despite coming through the ranks at West Ham, is not a popular figure – having departed the club under a cloud 2001, when he headed to Chelsea.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our club insider Ex shared an update on the situation, with the club denying the story.
“Despite a lot of strange rumours doing the rounds that bizarrely Frank Lampard is being lined up as the next West Ham boss this has officially been denied by the club,” stated Ex.
“When asked about the situation by another site the top source responded with ‘Not True’.”
