A number of Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly keeping a close eye on Fermin Lopez's situation at Barcelona, with a switch to Saudi Arabia said to be possible before the league's transfer window closes.
Saudi Pro League clubs have until September 23 to make signings, and it is understood that there could be some major moves due to the money that many of the teams in the division have at their disposal.
Fermin's future was the subject of much speculation during the summer market, with Manchester United and Chelsea both believed to be interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
However, the transfer window closed with the Spain international remaining at Camp Nou.
“In the end, my priority has always been to be at Barca," Fermin recently told Mundo Deportivo. “I arrived at 12 years old, it was my dream to be here, to reach the first team. It's always flattering that there is interest from other clubs, but the truth is I always had the idea of staying at Barca and succeeding here."

Saudi clubs 'considering Fermin move'
However, there is still believed to be a chance that Fermin could depart before the end of the month.
According to Fichajes, Barcelona want €60m (£52m) for the 22-year-old, and several teams from the Saudi Pro League are giving serious consideration to making a move for him.
The report claims that Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is keen to keep hold of Fermin, but he understands that the club's financial situation could lead to a departure.
Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr are viewed as the powerhouses in the division, although it is unclear at this stage of proceedings whether any of those clubs are preparing to make a move.

Should Barcelona consider a Fermin sale?
Fermin is a high-quality player, and he has proven himself at Barcelona over a long period, scoring 19 goals and registering 11 assists in 90 appearances for the Catalan outfit in all competitions.
Last season, the attacker scored eight goals and registered 10 assists in 46 appearances for Barcelona, but he has been restricted to just 73 minutes of football across two La Liga matches this term.
In an ideal world, Barcelona would keep Fermin, but the club would be left with a tough decision to make if they were to receive an offer in the region of €60m (£52m) from the Saudi Pro League.
