The 49ers will be without one of their best players for the rest of their Week 1 matchup against the Seahawks.
Star tight end George Kittle has been ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a hamstring injury. The injury occurred in the second quarter and San Francisco will have to hope that the injury isn't too severe to keep him sidelined for a longer period of time.
Kittle had already scored a touchdown in the game as he caught a five-yard pass from his quarterback Brock Purdy. The tight end was one of the healthiest players on the offense, as running back Christian McCaffrey and the wide receiver room have been dealing with injuries all preseason, leading up to Week 1.
There's Kittle. In the end zone 😤
