The Baltimore Ravens are firing on all cylinders on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills and at the forefront of it all is star quarterback Lamar Jackson.

However, in the second half, tensions flared following a stunning touchdown catch from Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who went up and caught the ball with one hand.

As the Ravens celebrated in the end zone and around the back and side walls near the fans, Jackson, who was excited for his teammate was seen getting pushed on the helmet from a Bills fan in the stands, which caused Jackson to quickly respond by shoving him right into his chest and putting him right back into his seat.

Jackson’s sideline altercation quickly went viral on social media as fans reacted to the incident.

“Self defense. I am on Lamar’s side That fan should be banned from the stadium,” a fan said.

Someone else added, “Lamar had every right to use lethal force and probably should have. You simply cannot risk it. You do not know what these rabid idiotic fans are capable of.”

Another person wrote, “Fan shouldn’t be touching the players.”

“Why do some fans think they’re just entitled to grab and touch players lol,” one more fan commented.

It’s likely something both Bills officials at the stadium and the NFL will review, as fan-player altercations often prompt closer scrutiny when they turn aggressive. However, in this case, it was clear the fan initiated the disrespectful action.
