Nottingham Forest could look to complete a move for Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers in the coming weeks, according to reports - despite the Hoops boss instead preferring to try his hand in Europe as opposed to what would be a seventh new job in the UK should he leave Celtic Park.
The report by Alan Nixon on his Patreon states that Rodgers could look abroad for his next job when his time comes to leave Celtic Park - potentially ending all notion of a move to the City Ground.
Report: Brendan Rodgers Prefers European Move Amid Forest Links

Rodgers is thought to be on the shortlist at Forest, should current gaffer Nuno EspĂrito Santo move on, though his ideal move would be a new challenge in Europe.
Sources close to the Northern Irish gaffer say that Rodgers fancies a change in scenery away from the UK, having floated between Celtic and Leicester City ever since his sacking from Liverpool almost 10 years ago.
Rodgers joined Celtic in May 2016, taking control of the Hoops for almost three years with 118 wins in 169 games at Parkhead, before then moving to Leicester, taking 92 wins from his 204 games and winning the FA Cup.
The 52-year-old since moved back to Celtic, winning two consecutive league titles, the Scottish Cup and the League Cup - but with a decent Premier League record of 139 wins in 312 games, Rodgers would be a strong pickup by Forest if he does make the move.
Nuno's future has been contentious ever since his on-field bust-up with owner Evangelos Marinakis last season after a 2-2 draw with Leicester, and the Portuguese boss admitted that his relationship with the Greek tycoon has deteriorated in recent times. He said:
"I always had a very good relationship with the owner, last season was very close. This season, not so well. No, it's not [good]. I don't know exactly, but I'm being honest with you. I cannot say that is the same, because it's not the same. The reason behind it, I don't know.
"I'm being honest with you, I cannot say that is the same, because it's not the same. The reason behind it, I don't know.
"The reality is that it is not what it used to be. What it used to be was a good, respectful relationship, but was more based on trust and sharing opinions, and now it's not so good."
Forest have started the season in decent form, brushing Brentford aside and grabbing a point against Crystal Palace, but their loss to West Ham United before the international break left a lot to be desired.
