Nottingham Forest are currently taking stock of an indifferent start to the 2025/26 campaign.
Nuno Espirito Santo has overseen a win, a draw and a crushing 3-0 defeat to West Ham, with Europa League football set to be on the horizon in the coming weeks.
Elliot Anderson was hailed for his England debut on Saturday, with Morgan Gibbs-White also getting minutes from the bench during a 2-0 win over Andorra.
Elsewhere, Nikola Milenkovic played for Serbia, who are in England’s group, and Ola Aina starred for Nigeria.
There is another Forest player – a summer signing – who has caught the eye of Stan Collymore and he’s heaped praise on him over the weekend.

Stan Collymore hails Nottingham Forest star Dan Ndoye
When Anthony Elanga went to Newcastle, Forest needed a replacement and went full steam ahead for Swiss star Ndoye.
The winger scored and claimed an assist in his first two matches for Forest, and that represents a pretty positive start for the winger.
Ndoye starred for Switzerland over the weekend, and he will hope to bring that sort of form back to the City Ground when international football ceases for another month.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Collymore was asked by Caught Offside to pick his three signings of the summer so far and in third place he opted for Ndoye after choosing Hugo Ekitike and Matheus Cunha as the top two.
He said: Forest’s Dan Ndoye is probably third. He has a real attacking intent. A player’s only going to go on and develop. Rapid pace, can create and fill the void left by Elanga, who is more well-rounded than. He has lots of pace to be able to go outside of players, come inside, create chances for the likes of Chris Wood.”
Ndoye gives Espirito Santo a dilemma
With Dilane Bakwa now in the ranks, Espirito Santo has to decide whether or not to throw him straight in and ditch Ndoye to the bench.
In truth, he probably doesn’t deserve that, but Ndoye does look like he’s better suited to the left-hand side of the pitch.
That would mean dropping Callum Hudson-Odoi, however, which doesn’t feel overly likely at this stage, given that he’s started the season well too.
Forest have a squad that is now brimming with options, and the challenge for Espirito Santo now is to keep them all happy by utilising them in a number of different competitions.
