Barcelona are not considering terminating Marcus Rashford’s loan deal despite swirling rumours, GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Manchester United loanee was linked with a shock Nou Camp departure in recent days, but Romano suggests there is ‘absolutely zero’ truth in the stories linking Rashford with an early exit.
Barcelona are said to be very happy with Rashford’s attitude and with the loan deal with Man United, which includes an option to make the 27-year-old’s move permanent after the season.
Rashford has made three appearances for Barcelona in La Liga this season, including one start, and is yet to score or assist in over 90 minutes on the field.

Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, revealed that Barcelona are not thinking about terminating Rashford’s loan early and are ‘very happy’ with the 27-year-old so far:
“Many questions coming, to be honest, I don't even know from where, because many of you ask me, is it true Fabrizio that Barcelona are considering terminating the contract of Marcus Rashford early.
“I don't know where this story is coming from. Guys, to be honest, I think it's really a shame to see these kind of rumors, because there is absolutely zero into it.
“Barcelona are very happy with Rashford. They're very happy with the deal they did. It's a loan with a buy option.
“So for Barca, even financially it’s not a big problem. They're very happy with the attitude of Marcus Rashford.”
Rashford has no future at United under head coach Ruben Amorim, who froze the England international out of his first-team squad last season.
The 27-year-old spent the second part of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Aston Villa, where he managed to recapture his form, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 17 appearances.
Rashford is under contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2028 and is one of the highest-paid players, earning a reported £232,000 per week.
Man United parted ways with Antony and Alejandro Garnacho this summer, with both wingers leaving on permanent deals, while Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Rasmus Hojlund departed on loan.
The Old Trafford side signed forwards Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko, along with goalkeeper Senne Lammens, who joined on deadline day.
