United's COO Brad Miller spoke of a 'stay or go' option at a fan meeting last November but no concrete updates have followed since

Newcastle United's St James' Park
Newcastle United's new CEO David Hopkinson has held introductory meetings with key stadium personnel ahead of his first full week in charge at St James' Park.
The Canadian arrived at the club last week with the former Global Head of Partnerships at Real Madrid set to take over from Darren Eales, who announced his exit from Gallowgate following a three-year stint.
On an interview with the club website, Hopkinson has referenced the importance of a city centre location as fans wait for news on wheher the Magpies will stay or go at St James' Park.
The ex-Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Knicks and La Liga supremo told the official website: "Each team I worked for was the most important thing in that community.

"And the arena or stadium is situated in the centre of the city. I haven't worked for one where it was in a suburb, 15 miles from downtown. That is really important.
"Where ScotiaBank Arena is in Toronto, or where the Bernabeu is in Madrid, right on Castellana.
"Where Madison Square Garden is, the absolute heart of Manhattan. Where St James' Park is in Newcastle. Location matters.
"What’s clear to me is how much the pride people in Newcastle have for their community is expressed as love for Newcastle United. That's awesome. That's energising. That's exciting. That's what matters. Not every team in every community can claim that."
Not since COO Brad Miller's straw poll to 3,000 fans in attendance at a fan event at the STACK last November have further details of what happens next been circulated to the supporters.
Much has been made about whether Newcastle will move to a new stadium but with options limited, Leazes Park has been suggested many as a possibility.
Other locations, including Gosforth Park, have been categorically denied by club sources while the option of staying at St James' could see a revamped location with an increased capacity of over 60,000 - something previous owners were unable to deliver.
When discussing the stadium decision, with a plans to announce the next move paused by the club earlier in 2025, Hopkinson told NUFC TV: "That's something we are thinking about really hard. Higher ambitions are going to require some investments in, and I think the decision before us, St James' Park, this is iconic.
"This is special, it's a special place. Are our ambitions best served here, or are our ambitions best served even better as we create a new stadium? We'll figure that out.
"I don't think we are ready to make that decision today, these are nice options to be creating for ourselves."
