Andre Onana on the verge of leaving the Red Devils.
Man United’s Premier League season hasn’t started nearly as planned. After two games, they are still standing on a single point. Despite the talks for Altay Bayindir’s release. Andre Onana did not play as their goalie in either of the two games. It appears like Manchester United will have a busy last week of the summer transfer season. Last week, when there was more action in the transfer market and minimal discussion about Manchester United, things are taking another turn here for them. Man United is under a lot of pressure as they have no proper no.1 in their team. It seems De Gea’s departure left a hollow place for the team to fill up.
What happened between Onana and Man United.
Man United Interested in the Belgian Keeper Senne Lammens . Thus, it is sure that one has to leave Old Trafford in order for another to play, and it now seems that Andre Onana is most likely to do so. Onana might be of interest to West Ham, although other teams are also interested (via United in focus). Although West Ham has already signed Mads Hermansen, it is thought that they are now looking at other options, and Onana may be one of them. Given that United is moving forward with their deal for Senne Lammens of Royal Antwerp, we now know that Onana is actively weighing his alternatives and prepared to depart, as Ruben Amorim has no plans for him in his squad.
Man Utd ‘continue to work’ on a deal to sign Senne Lammens as West Ham reject the chance to sign Andre Onana on loan, according to reports…https://t.co/BiVIb4NK6g

Uncertainty stays for United and Onana.
Fabrizio Romano claims that United and West Ham are not in discussions over a loan. That should ease some anxiety, but there is still uncertainty. One senior keeper will probably have to make room for Lammens, who United is close to signing. Although Bayindir seems to be the more likely contender, Onana’s name keeps coming up in the rumours. Trust is the greater problem. Amorim stated clearly that he chooses goalkeepers based on their recent performance, preseason preparation, and training. Amorim doesn’t have enough to be assured that Onana can be the man for them.
Will Andre Onana’s departure solves United’s problems.
Manchester United are currently going through a very rough stage. Ruben Amorim’s team losing to a fourth division Grimsby Town is by far the most humiliating loss for him. A 12-11 penalty shootout defeat after the game was drawn 2-2 is an absolute disaster. Plus, the £74 million signed player Benjamin Sesko missed a close opportunity. After this humiliating loss. Amorim said that loosing against a fourth division team cannot be entirely the goalkeeper’s fault it goes for everyone. Onana’s ratings were very poor for that game. Maybe for that reason Amorim is looking for something new which doesn’t include Onana. As for the fans when a premier league’s top team like United is playing against a fourth division team. Then it shouldn’t be the fault of the goalkeeper alone as all the other players are pretty much established and have the capacity to get the win for their team.
Author’s Opinion.
For me I don’t think it’s entirely the fault of the goalkeeper for Man United’s poor performance. The manager has a lot of work to do with the team as they are not at all performing at their best. Tactics can be a major problem for their performance, but I think Onana is a good goalkeeper. He proved himself on big stages that he is capable of doing things right. I get it players go through a bad phase in their career and hopefully Onana will make a comeback.
