Seven former Manchester United stars are among the nominees for the next two inductees into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
The former Reds involved are Michael Carrick, Teddy Sheringham, Patrice Evra, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Edwin Van der Sar and Michael Owen.
Carrick featured in 464 games for Man United, providing 26 goals and 35 assists. He won five league titles and is one of the two English players to win every honour in English football.
Sheringham played in 104 league matches for United, adding 31 goals and 24 assists and three league titles to his name.
Considered one of the best-ever left-backs in the Premier League, Evra made 273 appearances for the club and is a five-time League winner.
Widely regarded as the Best English right-back of his generation, Neville is a United academy graduate and spent his entire career at Old Trafford. He turned out 400 times in the league, recording 35 assists and winning the title on eight occasions.
Vidic is the only defender to be named the Premier League Player of the Season twice. He featured in 211 matches and earned a clean sheet in more than 40 percent of them.
Van der Sar played in 186 league matches for Man United and kept 94 clean sheets. He won the Golden Glove once and was named in the PFA Team of the Year thrice.
Owen had a short stint at United but won his only league title at the club. He featured in 31 games and scored five goals.
Sol Campbell, Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard, Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Jermain Defoe are also in contention.
The Hall of Fame is designed to celebrate former players who recorded tremendous success in the Premier League. Inductees are selected by fans and previously inducted members of the Premier League Hall of Fame.
Andy Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, Peter Schmeichel, Wayne Rooney, David Beckham, Roy Keane, and Eric Cantona are the former Man United stars inducted.
