NBA Star’s Sister Shot Dead By Boyfriend
A Jackson Township man has been charged with murder and other offenses in the shooting death of his girlfriend, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
On Saturday, the Jackson Police Department received a 911 call in reference to shots being fired and an unresponsive woman in the road at the Paragon Apartment Complex on Larsen Road. Officers found Toraya Reid, 28, with multiple gunshot wounds lying near the exit of the apartment complex. According to reports, she is the sister of NBA star Naz Reid.
Pedestrian Injured after Being Hit By NJ Transit Bus
An NJ Transit bus struck a pedestrian Sunday morning in Trenton, sending the individual to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to media reports.
The collision took place around 7:15 a.m. at the Clinton Avenue and State Street intersection. The bus involved runs between The College of New Jersey and Hamilton in Mercer County, NJ.com reported.
The pedestrian's injuries were described as not life-threatening by transit officials.
Man Dies After Being Found In Swimming Pool
A 68-year-old man who was found unresponsive in a Mahwah pool on Saturday has died, police said Monday.
Captain Michael Blondin of the Mahwah Police Department said that just before 6 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a Bedford Road home on a report of a possible drowning.
A family member had found a 68-year-old male resident of the home floating in the pool, police said.

Dead Shark Washed Ashore On Beach
A dead shark washed ashore in Wildwood Crest near Hildreth Avenue Saturday morning, according to media reports.
Officials have since removed the large shark and posted red flag warnings for extremely rough waves, which likely caused it to wash up, according to 6 ABC.
The cause of death is currently unknown.
Man Killed After Being Hit By Vehicle
A man died Sunday after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of New Willow and Jennett streets in Trenton around 2 p.m., according to media reports.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, NJ.com reported. The cause of death is pending autopsy.
