Nicolas Jackson's camp have hit back at Uli Hoeness after he claimed his loan move to Bayern wouldn't be made permanent
Nicolas Jackson's representatives have hit back at Bayern Munich chief Uli Hoeness after he publicly leaked details of the player's transfer and suggested that the forward's loan move from Chelsea would "never" be made permanent.
Jackson's move to Munich has been a turbulent one before even kicking a ball after he jetted out to Germany to complete his move, only to be ordered by Chelsea to head back after they lost Liam Delap through injury.
In the end, the Senegal international refused and managed to secure his move to the Bavarian giants after Chelsea recalled Marc Guiu, with Bayern paying a £14.3million loan fee. But now more problems are on the horizon.
Jackson's loan to Bayern was reported to include a £56.2m obligation to buy next season, but this weekend Hoeness claimed that would only be triggered if the player featured 40 times - something he said wouldn't happen.
He added that even talisman Harry Kane only managed 42 appearances last season. Jackson is set to play back-up role to the England captain and won't be a regular starter.
"It's not a €16.5m loan fee, because the player and his agent are contributing €3m, so that leaves €13.5m,” he told Sport1. "And there will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start. He will never do that."
Hoeness' words have not gone down well in the Jackson camp, as his agent and former Fulham star Diomansky Kamara wrote a cryptic post on social media on Sunday.
"Many speak, but few tell the truth," Kamara said. "That's not the topic today. Our only priority is Senegal's decisive match for World Cup qualification. This is a crucial moment for the entire nation.
Uli Hoeness
Hoeness enraged Jackson's team by sharing details about the player's move from Chelsea
"Our track record, our ethics and our way of working are well known, first as footballers and now as advisors to African players. It's time for unity. The rest will be dealt with later, at the appropriate time. End of story."
Jackson is preparing to play a huge game for Senegal against Congo on Tuesday that could decide their World Cup qualification.
In the same interview, Hoeness shared more details of Bayern's transfer business as he revealed why they pulled out of the race to sign Florian Wirtz, hitting out at Liverpool for paying a huge sum for the playmaker. He also criticised Newcastle for splashing out big money on Nick Woltemade.
"Of course, we would have liked to have Florian Wirtz, but we'd never have bought him for €150m. We offered €55m for Nick Woltemade, while Stuttgart wanted €75m. In the end he went to Newcastle for €90m.”
When asked about Woltemade, he added: "He isn't worth €90m. That only happened because of the money flowing from Saudi Arabia."
