But fans couldn’t hold back from criticizing his telegraphing as Baltimore’s defense snuffed it out for no gain, blowing up Allen’s plan at the scrimmage.

The pre-snap gesture has since gone viral online as fans watched Allen essentially give away the play call to a Ravens front seven who were already dialed in. Not surprisingly, it has kept raising eyebrows, with a handful of people being critical of his yield awareness.

The milestone it represented makes him just the second quarterback to hold the team’s all-time rushing touchdown record as he surpassed Thomas’ 65 mark. Cam Newton sits alongside Allen, holding the Carolina Panthers’ franchise record (63). He was emotional andrequested fans to keep faith in themuntil the final whistle.
He completed his history-creating touchdown during the fourth-quarter rally in the prime-time clash. With that, the Bills completed 16 unanswered points in the final 3:56 and printed their victory as one of the most improbable comebacks in franchise history.
