**The Premier League have put forward their 15 nominees for the Hall of Fame this year.**
It was announced back in 2020 that the first batch of players would be inducted, and since then, 22 have been voted in.
Another two will receive the honour in 2025, with 5 former West Ham stars included. Read below as we name all of the players who have been nominated.
Jermain Defoe
-------------
The Hammers academy graduate went on to play for five different Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Bournemouth.
Across his career, Defoe scored a total of 156 goals in the English top flight, including 18 for West Ham.
Michael Carrick
---------------
Like Defoe, the midfielder made his debut for the Irons, and he made 136 league appearances before joining Tottenham in 2024.
Carrick then left Spurs after two seasons to make the switch to Manchester United, where he won 18 trophies, including 5 Premier League titles.
Teddy Sheringham
----------------
The striker played his last Premier League season with West Ham, having helped them to promotion back to the top flight in 2005.
Prior to that, Sheringham had played for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Tottenham, Manchester United and Portsmouth in the English top flight, scoring a total of 146 goals.
Les Ferdinand
-------------
The forward spent a year with the Hammers during 2003/04, scoring only 2 goals in 14 appearances.
Ferdinand was certainly much more prolific at other teams, including Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle and Tottenham. He found the back of the net 149 times in the English top flight.
Patrice Evra
------------
The defender had a very brief period at the London Stadium right at the end of his career, making just 5 appearances in total.
Of course, Evra is better known for his time at Manchester United, where he played 273 league games over nine seasons, winning 5 league titles.
