While it's still only a Week 1 win, the Buffalo Bills mounted a miraculous comeback and might finally be ready to win the AFC.
For years now, many have wondered when and even if [the Buffalo Bills](https://buffalowdown.com/grading-keon-coleman-s-week-1-breakout-performance-vs-ravens-01k4mj60qmp8) could make a playoff run in the AFC and appear in a Super Bowl. Year after year, Buffalo has fallen short, and the most heartbreaking loss came in last year's AFC Championship Game.
However, it's a new season, and prior defeats in the playoffs have absolutely no bearing on the 2025 NFL Season. In Week 1, Buffalo mounted a double-digit second-half comeback against the Baltimore Ravens, a team known for blowing leads late in the games. Could this win have also been a symbolic that 2025 could be _the year_ for the Bills?
Buffalo means business, and _this_ might actually be the year

Josh Allen was simply outstanding in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens. Against one of the most talented secondaries in the NFL, Allen casually threw for 394 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 30 yards and another two touchdowns.
Four Bills' pass-catchers had at least 58 yards, and nine Bills' players had at least one reception. What sticks out with Buffalo's team already this year is just how deep they are on offense, and when you look at how badly the Kansas City Chiefs' defense played in Week 1, you get the sense that Buffalo is not only going to beat them in the regular season, but could also pull them apart in the playoffs.
I can only imagine how irritated this franchise must be with its yearly playoff defeats. They've been to two AFC Championship Games since the 2020 NFL Season and are just falling short year after year. The motivation has never been higher for this team to win, and this insane, symbolic, and downright [unlikely Week 1 win](https://buffalowdown.com/how-bills-completed-mind-blowing-comeback-win-ages-while-you-slept) could further prove that the 2025 season belongs to the Bills.
