San Francisco 49ers Colton McKivitz has improved and gotten better each year since he replaced Mike McGlinchey as the starting right tackle in 2023. He had a strong performance against DeMarcus Lawrence and the Seattle Seahawks, excelling in pass protection while being average in the running game. McKivitz surrendered only one pressure and one hurry without allowing any quarterback hits or sacks across 42 pass-blocking snaps.

Mckivitz is bang average. Not the calibre of lineman I want to see at the Niners, but I suppose some short/medium term stability isn’t a bad thing.
