CLEVELAND, Ohio — A change in the state law at the heart of legal disputes over the Browns’ planned move to Brook Park doesn’t apply retroactively, according to the Ohio attorney general’s office.
The argument, filed by Dave Yost’s office late Friday in the Browns lawsuit against the city in federal court, runs counter to Cleveland’s argument in a different lawsuit the city filed against the Browns.
