The start of the 2025-26 NBA season is a little over a month away and rumors have continued to swirl around many players as teams begin to prepare for training camp.
One team who has had many players in trade rumors is the Utah Jazz as they continue to go through a rebuild.
Of course, the Jazz finished with the NBA’s worst record last season and they have missed the playoffs the last three seasons, which has caused many of their players to be in trade rumors, including star forward Lauri Markkanen.

While Markkanen has been the main Jazz player in trade rumors, Kevin Love has also seen his name pop up in rumors ahead of the start of the regular season and he received a major report on Monday.
According to Hoops Wire’s Sam Amico, the Jazz are expected to buy out Love in the next two weeks.

The 37-year-old forward was acquired by the Jazz earlier this summer from the Miami Heat in the three-team trade that sent John Collins to the Los Angeles Clippers and Norman Powell to the Heat.
Now the former Cleveland Cavaliers’ champion is expected to be searching for a new home before the start of the regular season and these three teams could be potential landing spots.
Los Angeles Lakers
While the Los Angeles Lakers were able to upgrade their frontcourt this offseason by signing Deandre Ayton in free agency, adding Love would give them another reliable big man on their roster.

Of course, if the Lakers signed Love it would also reunite him with LeBron James, who he won a championship alongside during their time with the Cavaliers.
For Los Angeles, adding Love to their roster would give them another solid outside shooter and rebounder who could help them compete for a title behind their star duo of James and Luka Doncic.
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have had a rough offseason thus far as they have failed to sign anyone in free agency as they continue to deal with the ongoing situation regarding restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga.
Due to this, the Warriors are still in need of frontcourt depth and Love could become a potential target for them.

The 37-year-old forward would be a solid addition to Golden State’s bench as he would give them a solid scorer and rebounder in their second unit behind their core of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks are also in need of frontcourt depth behind Karl-Anthony Towns despite signing Guerschon Yabusele in free agency.
Because of this, New York could target Love for their final roster spot as he would give them another big man off the bench alongside Yabusele and Mitchell Robinson.

The veteran forward would also provide the Knicks’ bench with another much-needed scorer even after they signed Jordan Clarkson in free agency.
While these three teams could target Love if he is bought out by the Jazz, there could also be many other franchises who show interest in signing the former champion.
