OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) - The Oklahoma City Thunder has opened registration for the “Thunder Reading Challenge” to celebrate National Literacy Day.
Second-grade classrooms across the Sooner State can compete to earn prizes for their schools and themselves.
Monthly prizes will be awarded to the top ten schools based on the average amount of minutes read, so schools both big and small each have a chance to win.
The highest-achieving school earns a special assembly featuring Thunder entertainers.
The challenge will begin in October and will conclude at the end of March.
You can register for the challenge by visiting the link [here](https://okcthunder.com/readingchallenge).
