Ravens coach absolutely slams own star player after loss

The Baltimore Ravens lost a heartbreaker to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night after Buffalo and reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen erased a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter to come back and win the game.

The Ravens made a ton of mental mistakes that helped contribute to the loss, including a fumble by star running back Derrick Henry and an ill-advised lateral attempt by star safety Kyle Hamilton after intercepting a Josh Allen two-point conversion attempt.

After the game, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was highly critical of his safety.

“Harbaugh said he questioned whether Kyle Hamilton graduated from Notre Dame when he lateraled the two-point INT to Kyle Van Noy. He said he spoke to the safety,” [reported Jef Zrebiec on Twitter.](https://x.com/jeffzrebiec/status/1965128179666104799)

“I thought that was one of the most foolish things I’ve ever seen. He agreed and it should never happen again,” Harbaugh said.

Fans reacted to Harbaugh on social media.

“Dude is too comfortable in his position if he’s making jokes like that after that loss. And if it wasn’t a joke, then that’s honestly a fireable offense,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“So this is where we become transparent and it’s putting his star player in scrutiny. Look I get it, but I’d have more respect if he kept the same energy for himself and taking accountability,” someone else added.

“yeahhhhhh take shots at your best player on defense now look in the mirror JH, you made more blunders in 1 game than KH will make this season,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how Harbaugh and the Ravens bounce back.
