CHICAGO, Ill., — The Chicago Bears have the tough task of slowing down the Minnesota Vikings' offense in Week 1, and that task got a little tougher. Starting defensive back Jaylon Johnson has been ruled OUT for the game after being questionable with a groin injury.
Johnson suffered the injury prior to training camp, missing all of those practices as well as the preseason. He did return to practice this week but was limited all three days. In Johnson's place, the Bears will turn to Tyrique Stevenson and Nahshon Wright to slow down Justin Jefferson, Adam Theilen and the rest of the Vikings' passing attack led by quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
