Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has let the cat out of the bag about some plans the team has this season.

Sunday night was an all-time classic at Highmark Stadium when the Buffalo Bills came back from a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Baltimore Ravens on a Matt Prater game-winning field goal.

Throughout the night, the Bills seemed on the verge of losing. However, with just three minutes left in the game and Buffalo trailing by eight points, the situation changed. Ravens running back Derrick Henry was hit by Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver, resulting in a fumble.

Buffalo scored a touchdown a few plays later and then got the ball back after a massive defensive stop to set up the game-winning field goal.

The Bills truly looked like the team to beat this season, and SB Nation’s Ricky O’Donnell thinks Buffalo is the team ofdestiny this season.

“The Ravens are my Super Bowl pick and I’m sticking with it, but holy cow, what an amazing comeback for the Bills to cap Week 1,” O’Donnell wrote Monday. “Josh Allen is a superhuman, and he has a way of raising the level of everyone else around him. Please give us another Bills-Ravens playoff game. This is the best matchup in football by far.”

Josh Allen Became Superman Sunday Night

O’Donnell is 100% right that Allen is a superhuman. The 29-year-old quarterback put the team on his back, throwing for 394 yards and two scores while picking up 30 yards with his legs.

All night, it felt like Allen was going to do something special when the Bills went down by double digits, and he finally put it all together towards the end of the game.

If Allen plays like he did on Sunday night for the rest of the season, the Bills will be heading to the Bay Area to play in Super Bowl LX.

The highlight of the night was that every receiver on the team stepped up when called upon. Second-year receiver Keon Coleman had eight receptions for 112 yards and one score. Khalil Shakir, who signed a four-year, $53 million contract this offseason, had six receptions for 64 yards.

Even newly signed former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer had five receptions for 61 yards in his Bills debut.

The offense feels like the New England Patriots when Tom Brady quarterbacked them. It didn’t matter who the receiver was; Brady was throwing to the player who was going to step up.

Bills Could be Team to Beat In AFC

The Bills can take this major comeback win over the Ravens and use it for the rest of the season. Now, all the players on Buffalo know they are never out of the game until the final whistle blows.

Coming back late down 15 points on any NFL team is hard, but doing it against one of the Super Bowl favorites is an unbelievable accomplishment.

The Bills need to take care of business against the Kansas City Chiefs in early November to ensure they can get home-field advantage throughout the postseason.
