Bears' DJ Moore Exits Game With Concerning Injury

UPDATE:

DJ Moore has returned to the game after taking a big hit.

Chicago Bears star receiver DJ Moore had to be helped off the field in a scary scene as the team took on the Minnesota Vikings.

Moore attempted to catch a pass from quarterback Caleb Wiliams over the middle of the field, when he was pulled down by defenders. Immediately, Moore was on the ground and wincing in pain.

Though Moore was able to get up on his own power, he was slow to get up and come off the field completely. He had to be assisted by training staff.

Moore looked to be in a ton of pain, and he was gingerly walking off the field. However, it appears that the injury he sustained was merely a stinger.

Moments after the Moore injury, the Bears were able to capitalize on a touchdown to Rome Odunze.

Throughout most of the game, the Bears were dominating the day. The defense was all over J.J. McCarthy and the Vikings, ensuring the young signal caller was never comfortable.

Despite the Bears hanging on to a 17-6 score through to the third quarter, the Vikings began to march back. McCarthy and company secured 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

Now, the Bears are close to catching back up, as the score is 27-24 at the time of this writing.

Williams and the Bears began to stall completely on securing crucial third down conversions. Losing Moore would have been a tough loss, but the longtime veteran is clearly tough as they come.

Moore currently has three catches for 57 yards through the game.
