Marcus Rashford had a fallout with Ruben Amorim at Manchester United and that resulted in loan moves to Aston Villa in January and Barcelona in the summer window.
The forward has played 94 minutes from three games so far and is yet to score or register an assist for the La Liga winners.
Recent claims, somewhat twisted for social media, stated Barcelona will look to cut short the Manchester United owned player’s loan stay, but that has now been rubbished by Tuesday’s edition of Marca.
The newspaper report the England international is ‘regaining normalcy’ in every aspect of his life because of the Catalan club, and explain how he’s adapting and enjoying his daily life in Barcelona.
Rashford left Manchester United for the Spanish giants in July and has been well received by his new teammates.
Marca add his ‘anonymous day-to-day life’ in Barcelona, coupled with Hansi Flick’s trust and good atmosphere at the club, is allowing him to regain his best form.
The 27-year-old seems well on track to achieve this as he feels at home, ‘respected and valued’ at Barcelona.
Marca end their report by stating: ‘The striker, who still lives in a hotel and is making an effort to assimilate into the local culture, enjoys life in Barcelona: he strolls through shopping malls and shops in department stores with ease, goes out to eat almost unrecognised… his anonymity is making it easier for him to integrate into Barca.’
This should be enough to dismiss suggestions that his loan move to Barcelona hasn’t gone well so far.
