As a player who cannot avoid the headlines, Cameroon international Andre Onana recently agreed to join Turkish side Trabzonspor and will reportedly receive a major pay rise in the process.
The former Inter Milan goalkeeper battled to make a name for himself at Old Trafford as high profile errors often went against him in the last couple of seasons.
With United signing Senne Lammens to bolster their goalkeeping department, Onana agreed a loan deal with Trabzonspor as he looks to further his future elsewhere.
Now though, according to the Daily Mail, Onana has ‘doubled’ his salary with the Turkish club. The player is believed to have had contractual issues with United in the past, however, Onana could well have gotten his wishes with Trabzonspor.
The Red Devils will not receive a loan fee for Onana, while there is no option for Trabzonspor to sign the 29-year-old on a permanent basis.
